This seems to kind of be a hot take but I honestly prefer Abstraction in TADC as being completely irreversible.
I was sat in the theatre so ready to groan and roll my eyes when an Abstraction got reversed, and I was genuinely surprised by the bold decision to stick with it.

The idea of undoing Abstraction just makes me think back to Jasper getting shattered and then immediately having it undone in Steven Universe Future. I just don't really respect fakeout deaths in stories, I find them kinda trashy and not a sign of confident writing.

Not a huge MHA fan, but from what I remember this guy is kind of a victim to anyone with enough damage to overwhelm his regen that isn't just a kinetic force merchant. He was a bad matchup for All Might and All Might still won. I couldn't imagine this guy ever beating Todoroki.

This is actually the kind of scenario the Backrooms were initially conceptualized around. The post was aimed at people who were already "noclipping" and warning them not to do it "in the wrong places". This might be the most faithful interpretation of the Backrooms ever.

I was mostly referencing that one official drawing of her, so rewatching Episode 9 and seeing her in motion helped me understand how her head looks in 3 dimensions a little better.

How do you draw Ribbit? I'm not very good with these super stylized cartoony designs. Her eyes are giving me the most trouble. Does anyone have like a process that they use for drawing her consistently and accurately?

If you can't fathom why people have always found it compelling for the evil in their stories to be corrupted and subverted symbols of good then you're just never gonna make it. "Evil angels and god" is basically just "Evil Superman"'s predecessor. It's not some weird agenda.

I was posting about this the other day in regard to Homelander, but I genuinely love the idea of a character with some kind of super strength just totally destroying huge swaths of the Backrooms, only for it to be an infinitely small amount of damage in the grand scheme of it.

I spent today trying to learn how to draw Ribbit from TADC. I think I've got her face down pretty well at this point.

One more Ribbit drawing for tonight. I think I'm really starting to understand how her head works and how to draw it but the placement/size of her her eyes is still giving me trouble. Might just have to straight up measure them tomorrow if I want it consistent.
