Maj, I understand exactly what you're saying here. One thing I've been asking is this: Out of all the unfortunate murders in our country, EVERYDAY, how or why did this case become a national talking point? What makes some cases have more MEDIA appeal which inevitably drives narratives, agendas, sub-texts, etc

I agree as a statement of fact with this.
I disagree with the stupid rule that James Harden so called violated.
ESPECIALLY when you factor in the supreme LAW in regards to firearms is the 2nd amendment.
If you have a firearm, you need to know the laws in the state you are in. Ignorance is not an excuse!

NBA star James Harden was arrested in Houston early this morning for an unholstered firearm in his car.
No violence. No threats. No actual crime.
Just an unholstered firearm.
This is a blatant misuse of taxpayer resources and a clear violation of the Second Amendment.

*Correction:
I misspoke when I said “court of appeals jury.”
I meant the appellate judges.
It’s usually a panel of three of those.
Appeals don’t have jurors, I was referring to that panel of judges.
They could possibly already be tainted by the things Jeff Metcalf may be saying NOW.
We have no way of determining their bias either way.

Maj, I applaud you for at least trying to bring humanity, compassion, and common sense to this tragic situation, but, most of the people on both political sides are so indoctrinated by their political party that they stopped being decent human beings a long time ago…
I don’t agree with Jeff Metcalf’s rant against the black community, but I completely understand why he crashed out…Everyone has a breaking point — and we can say some dumb things in the heat of the moment..
Karmelo Anthony killed Austin Metcalf.. Austin’s father, Jeff, publicly stated that he forgave Karmelo, and then, he reached out to Karmelo’s family to pray with them — and was rejected.. The next thing we know, the Anthony family has Charleston White as their media spokesman — and he is disrespecting Jeff and his family…I’m going to share the entire video, because I don’t want to be accused of editing anything out of context… Listen👇🏽
