I made it so it shows income percentile instead of log median income but I also made it use the income data of each election year respectively(except 2008 where I use 2012) and I got that income data by taking census data and mapping it to 2020 precincts using dra2020 GitHub code
I added the 2016, 2012, and 2008 and also just used a Pareto curve to extrapolate for values beyond 200k. I also fixed a bug where it actually shows the number of bins stated. Showing 2008-2016 with 2022 income isn't perfect but it's not that long ago.

Actually the production of goods and services in the real economy is near capacity so if Elon took the $1.1T out of his vaults and invested it that would just cause terrible inflation, it doesn't mean we'll have more houses, college education, healthcare, etc.

I would please like if people stopped reporting top marginal tax rates on labor income as the same as the average effective tax rate of the 1% which while somewhat lower than in the past is not that different. Moreover much of the difference is from corporate and estate taxes.

My twitter banner is a helpful reminder and it comes from CBO so it's trustable. If you look at the blue what the top marginal tax rate on la or shown in the quote being reported should influence it's not that different from 1979 when it was 70%.

Ah yes the Obama was under ideological capture of centrist clintonian democrats rather than more conservative or "moderate and respectable(tm)" even harsher austerity freaks that's why he was "nerfed" and not that the stimulus was too small or handling of foreclosures was poor.
Obama's issue, as is often the case, was less about lack of intelligence & more about ideological capture that nerfed his intelligence by anchoring his thinking into a sharply delimited epistemological framework.
A wide variety of ideas simply could not be acknowledged as valid.
