Thanks @MakerereVC & ur team for embracing local IT systems of our innovators. If more #MDAs can follow suit & cut on the appetite for procuring heavily priced foreign IT systems, our ecosystem would grow by leaps & bounds . The law to enforce this is in the pipeline @Tybisa

Thank you Hon. Tumwebaze. The Academic Information Management System (AIMS), a locally developed platform has tremendously improved the way we do business. This is already easing students’ life at Campus!

I have had the pleasure to meet Mr. Ssuubi Henry Kiyimba the student who was mercilessly attacked on social media as unfit to come to Makerere. I have encouraged him to enjoy his stay at Makerere and work hard on his future career.

Our students of law seem to be miles ahead some of their lecturers in comprehension of contemporary trends in technology. They are winning moot court competitions globally. Their knowledge of Artificial Intelligence is superb from the demos I have witnessed.
You know, I have read many contracts in my career. But reviewing an agreement for the services of a robot called Sophia hit me really hard. After 11 years of teaching at @MakerereU School of Law, I know that our law school is not preparing our students for what's already here!
