Disgusting
2 yrs ago when I had surgery for cancer, the lady in the next bed was visited by a hospital administrator she had not met before, not her doctor, who stood at the end of her bed and said she had no option but to have MAID. The woman said “Absolutely not! I plan to get up and dance again”. The administrator then started to argue with her saying she had no choice but MAID without explaining why. The woman said “Well I’ll talk to my family when they come on Monday.” The administrator replied “They’re coming on Monday? Good, I’ll talk to them”. She headed off the family on Monday before they saw her and they came to our room primed to convince her she had to have MAID according to the hospital. She then argued with the family that she didn’t want it. During the day she was firm but at night when they weren’t there she cried. Ultimately they convinced her and started preparing a party for her to say goodbye to all her friends. So sad. And it has made me more skeptical about MAID procedures.

Asmongold says OnlyFans girls can't compete with a man from Pakistan armed with AI "OnlyFans isn't even close to as profitable as it was five years ago. Girls making $10K a month are now making $2k." "How can a normal girl compete with the sexual fantasies of the most depraved man in Pakistan armed with every AI tool to make whatever girl he wants?" "You can't beat Rajesh. There are so many people, my parents included, who are discussing leaving Canada. People I'd have never expected to want to leave. Others are only staying because they have family or other obligations keeping them here against their wishes for a better quality of life.

My thoughts after 3 months in the US/Texas🇺🇸: - Americans are way more extroverted than Europeans - Talking to strangers is normal here - My first H-E-B trip felt like Boris Yeltsin seeing an American grocery store - Some food is more artificial, but the amount of choices is insane - You can still eat healthy. You just have to choose it - High risk, high reward is real - Way more people are entrepreneurial - People dream bigger than in Europe, and they actually execute - Obv not everyone is smarter, but the smart people are world-class - Successful people here are way more down-to-earth. In Europe, successful people care about status and can be arrogant - Cars. Enough said - Americans have perfected artificial sweets - There’s still more freedom here than in Europe - One thing I didn’t expect: some Americans talk down on America - As an outsider, that’s weird, because imo it’s still the greatest country on Earth🇺🇸🇺🇸

This story should make everyone absolutely furious, for a bunch of different reasons. An 8-year-old girl named Nina Napope was killed in 2023 in Edmonton. She suffered terrible, long-term abuse and died from blunt force trauma. Her body was found in a hockey bag. The woman caring for her, Ashley Rattlesnake, was originally charged with first-degree murder. But the the Crown later agreed to a manslaughter plea deal, meaning they accepted that she caused the death but didn't plan it as murder. WTF? In February 2026, Rattlesnake was sentenced to 8 years in prison. After credit for time already served, she’ll only serve about 3 years and 9 months more. The Edmonton Police were very angry about the manslaughter deal. They believed the evidence showed it was murder. For the first time ever, they wrote a strong official letter to the Crown, basically saying "This is a miscarriage of justice." They viewed the abuse as extreme, and threatened to release all their detailed evidence to the public. They wanted the case to be tied in the court of public opinion. This was highly unusual. Oolice are not supposed to pressure prosecutors like this. What actually happened? The Crown did NOT change the manslaughter plea. The deal stayed the same. The case went to sentencing. The judge was furious at the police for sending that letter. She called their actions “reprehensible” and said it was wrong for police to try to interfere. Because of the police letter, the judge reduced the sentence by 1 year as a penalty. So the woman actually got a lighter punishment than she might have otherwise. Now, Alberta’s police watchdog (ASIRT) is investigating the Edmonton Police for their unusual letter and conduct. Bottom line: the police tried to publicly shame and pressure the Crown to get a harsher charge/sentence, but it backfired. The plea didn’t change, and the sentence was made shorter partly because of what the police did. Many people are upset that the punishment seems too light for such a brutal crime against a child. If judges are willing to do this to the police, what hopes do any of us who challenge the system have? globalnews.ca/news/11900278/…

This is one of the most disturbing things I've ever read, but it perfectly encapsulates modern Ireland. As men moved to neutralise an Algerian migrant who was stabbing kids outside a creche in Dublin, women on scene locked hands to protect him.

If these laws get passed you better fuckin believe I pack it up here, get a working US visa and push to become an American citizen where I can be free and protected by the United States Constitution. Born and raised in Canada and even shocked im saying this because I love this country and the people in it. There's no goddamn way im gonna sit around and watch my country head down the dystopian direction that the UK is taking. I refuse to live in a "papers please" country masked as a democracy.

Folks are slowly waking up to what the Liberals have done, are doing, & will continue to do. But now, it may be too late: they are strangling the communication lines, the freedoms we’ve taken for granted since Confederation. Political opponents will be labeled foes, & monitored.
A privacy expert told Global News the Liberals' push to fast-track the bill and limit debate was "staggering" and "astonishing." globalnews.ca/news/11908249/…

You know is getting bad in Canada when the media has lawyers on informing the public on how they can better protect their data from the Government. Bill C-22 has a section that has raised considerable alarm which would require “core” providers to retain all users metadata for up to a year and create capacity for investigators to access their systems. Safety Minister Gary needs to go.

Lara Logan just broke down a pattern that hits different once you see it. They keep creating problems that can never actually be solved: racism that’s “unconscious,” masculinity as inherently toxic, CO2 as the enemy even though we breathe it out, and differences turned into permanent grievances. The goal? Issues without end. Skin color can’t change. Breathing can’t stop. Masculine instinct doesn’t vanish. So the problems stay… and so does the control. It’s not about fixing anything. It’s about keeping the fight alive so we stay divided and easier to manage. Once you spot the tactic, everything gets clearer. What “unsolvable problem” have you noticed getting pushed the hardest lately?

Why is it acceptable to talk about justice for the vaccine injured while completely ignoring what was done to us unvaccinated? The vaccinated made a choice. The unvaccinated made a choice. One group is now being recognized for the consequences they suffered, while us unvaccinated is expected to pretend the last few years never happened. Millions of us unvaccinated were threatened with losing jobs, careers, livelihoods, and reputations. Families were divided. Friends turned on friends. We unvaccinated were mocked, demonized, and treated like second-class citizens for making a personal medical decision. And many cheered it on. If we’re going to have an honest conversation about the damage caused during the experimental era of COVID, it can’t be limited to physical injuries alone. The emotional, financial, and professional harm inflicted on us unvaccinated was real, and it deserves to be acknowledged too. Justice means recognizing all those who suffered not just the ones whose suffering is politically convenient!
