yeah I meant that it‘s not a good idea in this environment if musicians have the outdated goal to push music out only to ‘get live shows’. If musicians just focused on Ethereum, it would improve their situation a lot. Most haven’t understood this yet.

More and more musicians keep asking me about this tweet below👇🏻 in my experience people choose what works best for them. Music streaming via corporate networks (Spotify etc.) is disappointing for those who actually create the value = the creators. They get mistreated, fooled and abused…so s w i t c h ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ #NFT #music

Music NFTs haven’t ‘failed’.
These 3 main factors were obstacles since 2022:
1) Most artists are tied up in bad 360 deals that make NFTs impossible. Because they don’t own (= control) their music anymore.
2) global economy (inflation high interest rates etc.). Live music suffered hard, ticket sales overall bad etc. Simply the wrong time. Don’t pick strawberries in winter.
3) new music produced for streaming has low or even zero value for collectors.
Look at how low Spotify values music.
Tons of growing piles of low quality music could sink streaming platforms.
Law of large numbers, ‘needle in the haystack’ problem.
