IRCTC should be privatised and sold to platforms like makemytrip. This is a useless platform and full of corruption.
IRCTC’s seat allocation logic continues to amaze me. A friend of mine booked tickets for a family of 3. The parents were allotted seats C5-27 and C5-6, while their 5-year-old daughter was assigned a seat in C13. This was despite more than 120 seats being available at the time of booking. To make things worse, even the two seats allotted to the parents were not together. The only practical option they had was to cancel the ticket. For a platform handling millions of bookings daily, basic family seat grouping shouldn’t be this hard.

Mumbai is before your eyes , but more or less same situation is everywhere. CORRUPTION has entered into our Genetic Constitution/Blood Stream. No Politician/Government has the Willingness Or Strength to Control “The Babus, The Bureaucracy, & Contractors”. No sense getting tense!

What Mumbai can’t build - 1. Large green space/park for the residents 2. Simple footpaths 3. Roads or bridges with smooth and even surface 4. Public parking spaces 5. Clean toilets Mumbai has the richest municipal body in the country. #Mumbai #Mumbairoads #Mumbaicity

Actually if you ask me , Mumbaikars are living the cockroach life. Poor roads, pathetic infrastructure and unbelievably dirty. The prime business district of BKC is a good example . See its connectivity, condition of traffic and public transport- below third world standards.
Such has been the dramatic slide that I find it hard to figure who is the bigger disappointment: Devendra Fadnavis or Nitin Gadkari

🚨 India's Women's 4x100m Relay Team wins Gold, matching the Championship Record! India's Women's 4x100m Relay team stormed to gold in 44.07s, equalling their own Championship Record (CR) at the New Taipei City Athletics Open 2026. Srabani provided a solid start, Sneha held her own on the second leg, Sudheshna produced a blistering third leg, and Tamanna capped off the race with a strong finish as India dominated the field. Interestingly, the Indian team also won gold at the same meet last year in exactly the same time — 44.07s! The quartet has shown the ability to run much faster, having clocked 43.86s at the Asian Athletics 2025, their best performance over the past two years. With the Asian Games on the horizon, India will be hoping to produce a few more sub-44-second performances and further strengthen their position among Asia's leading sprint relay teams. 📹 - ELTA Sports #IndianAthletics #Athletics #Relay #4x100m #NewTaipeiCityAthleticsOpen @afiindia

(Part 1/2)

I genuinely never imagined that a reputed hospital like Apollo Cradle Sector 82 Gurgaon could put senior citizens through such an exhausting, stressful, and negligent experience. My mother was admitted today for a minor procedure. The procedure was completed by 4 PM, and the doctor cleared her discharge by 5 PM. What followed after that was absolute chaos, incompetence, and complete disregard for patient care. The hospital administration failed to submit the insurance claim on time. When they finally did, they submitted it with the wrong amount and incorrect procedure code. After wasting hours, they resubmitted the bill again around 8 PM. Then, despite the claim already being pre-approved, @HDFCERGOGIC denied it due to the their staffs error—something even the insurance team acknowledged and asked them to resubmit. Meanwhile, my elderly parents were left stranded in the hospital for hours with zero empathy, zero urgency, and no accountability from the admin staff. By 10 PM, after over 5 hours of unnecessary delay, I told the team to stop the drama and simply process the payment on my card so we could leave. Shockingly, they then generated a completely different bill and inflated the charges even further. Even AFTER payment was completed, they still kept us waiting another 45 minutes without providing the final bill or discharge summary. And to make matters worse, during discharge, the staff negligently removed my mother’s drip needle improperly, causing her to start bleeding while walking toward reception. I have photographs documenting this negligence. What should have been a smooth 1–2 hour discharge process turned into a humiliating 5 hour ordeal for senior citizens who deserved care, compassion, and professionalism. Hospitals are supposed to reduce stress during difficult times, not multiply it through incompetence, mismanagement, and complete insensitivity toward patients and families. If you care about your loved ones, especially elderly parents, think twice before taking them to Apollo Cradle Sector 82 Gurgaon. Today’s experience was not just disappointing but it was deeply disturbing. Please repost, quote post and comment tagging the right authorities so that proper action is taken and no one else faces this trouble. @ApolloCradle @HospitalsApollo @miracles_health @HDFCERGOGIC

The @TMCaTweetAway abd @MMRDAOfficial decision to merge all service roads in Ghodbunder into main road has forced people to walk on road as TMC has sold footpaths. Shamelessness at its peak. No survey before doing this project is root cause of the failure. #thane

Surjit Bhalla: Investment is not taking place. FDI has declined into negative territory. When facts change, I change my mind. We have strange rules in terms of FDI. Foreigners are not interested in investing in India, Indians are not interested in investing in India. The investment climate in India is very bad, and that is what has gone wrong. On the other side, you've got the political climate. So I think what is happening is that the government is in a great comfort zone because it is winning all the elections. So it does not see any urgency or need to do reforms, especially on the growth side.

Do you even understand how disastrous your policies are turning out for the India. Growth Story & the Indian Stock Market. Indian Stock Market is the worst performing globally in the past 2 years & the Indian rupee is the worst performing currency in Asia in the past couple of years. Foreign investors are relentlessly selling & taking money out & the Indian retail investors are reduced to absorb FII selling. If India's GDP is growing at 8.2%, then why are corporate earnings not reflecting. Why is basic consumption not reviving. Today BJP has 17 CM's & 22 NDA state govts. 1800 BJP MLA's in the country. Who is stopping you from delivering Growth. You haven't been able to privatise an IDBI bank for the past 7 years & then talk about reforms. Indian rupee is past 96. In the past 12 years, it depreciated by 38 rs. Nifty IT Index has fallen more than 40% from top. If Artificial Intelligence takes away jobs from Indian IT sector, then remember it will have a domino effect on the Indian economy which will dampen sales from housing, auto, FMCG, tourism etc. The pitcure projected through headline management in media isn't true. The ground reality of the Indian economy isn't whats been shown. Better get yo to work by appointing some bureaucrats who understands macroeconomics. A high tide lifts all boats but your policies will do the opposite.

High oil prices , Iran war related disruptions and FPI outflows are the three main challenges facing the economy. We see the PM talking about the first two but complete silence on the third! The Hon PM needs to take some concrete actions for the 3rd. #Economy #BJP #PMOIndia

Radio cabs like Ola, Uber and Rapido should give an option to riders to opt for no-smoking, no-tobacco chewing/spitting drivers while booking a cab. If needed charge ₹10-40 extra for it. But please do it. Let's incentivise good drivers for a clean India.

But who cares? We have the NTA head and the Minister responsible smiling and posing. His master doesn’t even care.
“Why are you crying about the re-exam? It’s not like you’ll forget everything you studied in a few weeks. If you are a good student, you can study again and still score well.” Well, that’s not how things work. Competitive examinations are not merely tests of knowledge, but also tests of timing, mental conditioning, emotional stability, and peak performance achieved after months or years of disciplined preparation. Serious students structure their entire routine around one examination date, carefully managing sleep, revision cycles, stress levels, mock tests, and mental sharpness to perform at their absolute best on that particular day. When an exam is cancelled despite their honest effort, they are forced to recreate the same level of focus and intensity again, which is mentally exhausting and usually impossible with the same efficiency. The hardest-working students are affected the most because they invest the greatest emotional and mental energy into preparation. After the first exam, many experience burnout, fatigue, reduced concentration, emotional numbness, and loss of momentum. Even if their knowledge remains intact, their sharpness may decline during the re-exam. Most damaging of all, paper leaks weaken a sincere student’s faith in merit itself. When students realize that even years of hard work cannot protect them from systemic failures caused by others’ dishonesty, it creates frustration, helplessness, and distrust toward institutions. This is why a leak-proof exam is non-negotiable, the bare minimum that can be done for hard working students.
