The first rule of being a change agent in an organisation is: "you can't be a change agent on your own". However creative, determined or passionate we are, the system will wear us down without social support. History shows that the people who make change happen are often small groups, loosely connected, united by shared purpose. It's why setting up a peer group of likeminded people can amplify our power for change. Here's some great practical advice on how to set up a peer group:
1) Find the right members
2) Set guidelines on how you'll connect
3) Agree on values
4) Check in to keep up the momentum
