Step 3. When people start contacting you, help them and turn them into clients.
This is the key.

โWhen people start contacting you, sell them something.โ
Nope.
The first step is to help.
Hereโs how:
When they email you and say, โActually, yes! I do need some help. When can we talk?โ
You say, โWhenever is best for you. Iโm just excited to have a chance to see how I might be able to help you.โ
remember this:
Your job isnโt to sell right nowโฆ
โฆ Your job is to help them.
Ask them questions. Offer to help for FREE
Get them talking about themselves, about what is bothering them.ย Offer solutions without ulterior motive. When itโs time, youโll know it.
Theyโll say, โCan you help me with this?โ
And youโll say, "I can do this.โ
That's it.
