ALIGN generates evidence on what works in adolescent health and nutrition across 12 African countries. But evidence that doesn't reach the people who can act on it doesn't change anything. The Outreach, Advocacy, Liaison & Communications Officer is the person who makes sure it does through policy briefs, digital campaigns, media engagement, stakeholder liaison, and a communications strategy that keeps ALIGN visible and influential throughout its life. DAY 5 — PARTNERSHIPS & MENTAL HEALTH #YouthSDGsWeek2026 reminded us that sustainable development is also about wellbeing, healing & collective care. We discussed partnerships, youth empowerment & mental wellness because you cannot build sustainable impact with exhausted people

DAY 4 — PEACE & JUSTICE #YouthSDGsWeek2026 focused on governance, civic participation, peacebuilding & strong institutions under SDG 16. The conversations were bold, necessary & honest: young people must move from symbolic participation to actual decision-making power. #SDG16

DAY 3 — PLANET #YouthSDGsWeek2026 reminded us that climate change is not abstract it is personal, political, economic & deeply human. Screening of Battle for Laikipia to conversations on climate justice, storytelling & youth-led climate action, the day made us rethink our roles

DAY 2 — EDUCATION & ECONOMIC GROWTH #YouthSDGsWeek2026 focused on education, prosperity, decent work & youth opportunities. From policy conversations to civic engagement and regional youth leadership perspectives, It was clear: young people are already building solutions.

DAY 1 PEOPLE  Day 1 of #YouthSDGsWeek2026 at the KSG focused on PEOPLE, dignity, inclusion Powerful discussions led by young people, policymakers & development partners reminded us that youth are not just participants in development conversations we are leading them.
