Sonic Team Head Takashi Iizuka says he would like to see every Sonic game available on modern consoles, but given the cost of making that happen (not just porting, but remaking), the team would rather focus on new experiences.
He also said if people continue purchasing Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and buying the year 2 content, he mentioned a possible year 3.

I just don't get it. Obviously glitch fans will be alienated, but I feel like a large majority of the people against glitch rn want something really out there, and this just looks like an independent version of your average Fox Anidom show. Idk who this is supposed to appeal to.

Brand new Banjo-Kazooie PC Port "Lighthouse" coming this July by the Harbour Masters!
Seems to include Randomizer, Multiplayer, and ROM Hack support on Day 1! Archipelago was also announced, but will be added at a later date.

Honestly I kinda appreciate OOT for not using the theme and giving the game it's own identity. Made Majoras Mask more special when they brought it back.
The original Ocarina of Time on N64 never played the famous main theme of the Zelda series.
The 3DS remake fixed that, though.
And how beautifully it did.

The thing about "not developing every character" is that stories need focus to be Stories. There will be a principle focus, theme, beat, while other things will have to be peripheral / supporting. If everything's given Equal Weight, then it's not really a story, but a simulation.

Koizumi is one of the most important artists of old Nintendo, he's had a leading role in every 3d Mario, was responsible for the story in Galaxy, and is responsible for crafting the mythos of Zelda with the 3 goddesses. But he isn't epic hecking whimsical so now we crucify him

Roxas at the end of KH2 accepted that he'd go back to Sora. Sora tells him that Roxas deserved to be his own person, that he didn't deserve what he went through, and reaffirmed his right to exist as an individual, which is what Roxas wanted in days. This pays off in kh3?
Well, as much as I love them, what exactly are they going to do going forward? Their stories are effectively over now which is why they should’ve stayed gone. I remember someone told me “if you have to think of a reason for a character to be present, they probably shouldn’t be”
