What a sensible & measured statement by @carla_denyer. Such a shame some people felt it wasn't able to stand on its own.

In January, the Houthis sentenced 32 men, 9 to death, for the "crime" of supposedly being gay. They killed them by crucifixion and stoning. Some who were sentenced to prison were publicly flogged. The Houthis are not "progressive," and no activist should be cheering them on.
