As a user I really only care about how many tokens I get and how much I pay for them. Let's call this my average purchase price, weighted by the number of tokens And given that the price of the auction can only increase overtime as more demand enters the auction The more time you spend in the auction, the less you will spend for more tokens Hopefully this gives some color into why a portion of supply is exclusively sold to the contributor track!
