10 years ago my wife, the mum of our kids & the MP for Batley&Spen was killed by a far right extremist. At anniversaries I try to be optimistic about the future. But not this time. In the ten years since she was killed we have gone backwards & I fear our democracy is now at risk

Nigel Farage has accused the media misrepresent what he says so letโ€™s look at his history of flip- flopping, breaking promises, denying things has said and even flip-flopping on his flip-flops. Nigel Farage and Reform can not be trusted. #makerfield

For non-Irish following events in Belfast, just to show you what was used to save the victim. This is a hurley stick or hurl (not a hurley bat!). Itโ€™s used in the Irish games of hurling & camogie to hit a small ball called a sliotar. Hurling is one of the most ancient games in the world & one of the fastest, requiring great skill. Itโ€™s a game deeply embedded in our mythology & is central to the stories of one of our ancient heroes, Cรบ Chulainn, who used a hurl & sliotar to save himself from being attacked by a fierce hound. So even in Irish mythology, the hurl was used to save a life. Please continue to pray for the victim of the attack in Belfast, for his family, & the people of the city.

Can we have a TV show where #Reform voters try to eat steak with a spoon, against the clock?

I'm generally against the mass killing of civilians. The fact that it's Jews doing the killing doesn't complicate it for me. Put it this way, I have no reason to come up with reasons to justify it, ignore, it, cover it up, or explain it away.

Paulina Mangubat is who runs @TheDemocrats account. Sheโ€™s 30, unmarried with no kids. Put your name on it next time. This is what a sad, unhappy, female Liberal looks like. Itโ€™s why Pew reports 50% of them have been diagnosed with a mental condition.

Simon Harris says that after winning Galway, Fine Gael will redouble its efforts to increase rents and enrich landlords, as this is clearly very popular with voters.
