Absolutely love this
"Perfection is impossible. In the 1,526 singles matches I played in my career, I won almost 80% of those matches. But what percentage of points did I win? 54% In other words, even top ranked tennis players win barely more than half the points they play. When you lose ever second point on average, you learn not to dwell on every shot. You teach yourself to think: 'Okay, I double faulted...it's only a point.' 'Okay, I came to the net and I got passed again...it's only a point.' Even a great shot, an overhead backhand smash that ends up on ESPN's top 10 playlist โ€“ย that too is just a point. Here's why I'm telling you this. When you're playing a point, it has to be the most important thing in the world. And it is. But when it's behind you, it's behind you. This mindset is crucial โ€“ย because it frees you to fully commit to the next point with intensity, clarity, and focus." โ€“@rogerfederer

For #WorldEnvironmentDay, I shared with @FarmersGuideUK how nature is the backbone of farming. Healthy soil biology and pollinators not only cut costs but make farming more sustainable. By valuing nature, we can unlock its full potential for our farms. ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ‘‡

Two reports today on climate change making winter rainfall more intense and the knock on impact on agricultural yields. This is precisely what climate scientists have been warning would happen and it really does deserve more attention. businessgreen.com/news/42128โ€ฆ

Very interesting thread here explaining why our fruit self sufficiency seems low- arguably with some justification (we eat a lot of grapes and bananas) and some potential over-claim (should cider apples be classed as a fruit in this context...). Thanks @tommlancaster
FRUIT! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ’๐ŸŠ The government say we only produce 17% of what we eat They're not wrong, but as a figure it reveals a lot about how we measure food security And the headline number is really a story of apples, bananas, cider and strawberries Here's why...๐Ÿงต

Brilliant start to Sustainable Food Systems from @sallyuren @Forum4theFuture Beware False choices! Insistence on having the perfect data before taking action resonates.ย E.g. we know what we need to do to reverse #biodiversity loss on uk farms

Insightful as ever @lorddeben @ORFC we have to make the existing system work to get to more sustainable future. Don't wait around for technology to fix things

We need to stop judging food and its associated carbon footprint by the kilo and by the calorie, and do it by its nutritional value instead. Michael Lee @ORFC this morning discussing the incredible nutritional value of animal-based foods. ๐Ÿ‘
