Here is my old short, “Masher Computer” for your enjoyment. I’ll leave pinned for a while. Thank you, thank you, thank you, to IMDb for making it available this whole very long time. 2nd of 2 tweets. imdb.com/videoplayer/vi28959…

Has Spielberg become like Kubrick in his later years, by making movies panned on their release but beloved later?

Reactions to Disclosure Day are not polarizing like A.I.’s, but definitely divisive. Some complaints are justified, even I feel it’s not perfect, but others reflect audiences who’ve been spoon fed stories. Forced to think, they whine. Given time, people will like it more.

I've tweeted a lot about bad movie-going experiences. But I'll tell ya what. A good one. A really good one. There's nothing like it. Just watched DISCLOSURE DAY in IMAX with a large group of people who were completely silent and locked in the entire time. That's the good stuff.

I’m filled with joy. The real Steven Spielberg has returned. #DisclosureDay

Being part of a generation that was told “Wikipedia is not a source” makes it genuinely baffling to me that jobs are now telling people to just use ChatGPT for everything.

A very cool, under-the-radar story here. The excellent 2018 horror movie CAM has been available to watch precisely NOWHERE since Netflix got rid of it last year, so director Daniel Goldhaber put it up for FREE streaming on his website: bloody-disgusting.com/movie/…

You know a movie is going to be big when the American Cinematheque is getting in on the action. I’m not criticizing them. It’s just… wowza.

Thank you so much, Elijah.
For the first time yesterday, I experienced the new @alamodrafthouse QR code ordering system and I can tell you it’s truly awful. Rather than making ordering food and drink more efficient, it actually adds steps to the process AND if you want to order additional items during the film you HAVE to open your phone. No, your cute reference to that irony in your How To Alamo video doesn’t negate how ridiculous this is. Please don’t cut corners with your staff and revert back to physical menus and order cards.

I made Captain Zero when I was 18 At the ages 21, 23, and 26 I was told in not so subtle ways by SEVERAL studios/company’s I shouldn’t direct Captain Zero because I wasn’t “seasoned enough”. Only a specific demographic gets to have “a chance” taken on them and it’s sad.

One of the craziest box office weekends underway: BACKROOMS by 20-year old Kane Parsons on track to make at least $80M at this point. OBSESSION to make MORE in its 3rd wkdn ($28.5) than its 1st & 2nd wkdns...and more than GROGU (around $24M). hollywoodreporter.com/movies…

Here they are across from each other in what may be an iconic weekend at the movies. As of this instant, Obsession, in its third weekend, has sold more tickets in this theater.

The top two movies this weekend are horror and the new Star Wars has flopped. Therefore, tomorrow the trades will say horror is dead.🙄

So sorry to hear of the death of great jazz saxophonist Sonny Rollins at 95. He first recorded with J.J. Johnson in 1949. His first album as group leader was in 1954. He last performed publicly in 2012. This famous 1958 picture is of jazz greats. He was the last survivor.
