The @OECDtrade Report on the Trade in Counterfeit Goods and the UK Economy has been published today.
The report estimates that in 2021, the value of counterfeit and pirated goods imported into the UK amounted to GBP 7.1 billion, equivalent to 1.5% of total UK imports.

With adapted trade routes & new suppliers, there was a rise in counterfeit trade during COVID-19.
Although the volume of seized goods has fallen since COVID-19, the UK remains vulnerable to the effects of counterfeiting and piracy.
