WIPO DG Daren Tang met with Côte d'Ivoire’s Vice President Tiémoko Meyliet Koné to discuss how IP can help the country develop a digital and knowledge economy and capture more value from its natural resources as part of its National Development Plan.
WIPO agreed to help implement the country’s new IP policy, as well as to support Ivorian inventors, creators, entrepreneurs and youth to use IP to bring their ideas to the market and the world.
