Yesterday First Lady Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa led an interactive anti-drug and family interface at Stodart Hall Grounds in Mbare under the Angel of Hope Foundation, bringing together communities, health experts, law enforcement and Government stakeholders in a united effort against drug and substance abuse. We held open dialogue sessions, shared lived experiences from recovery journeys, and equipped families with practical knowledge on early warning signs, prevention, and support systems for affected individuals. The First Lady was joined by Zimbabwe footballers Marvelous Nakamba and Tawanda Chirewa, who added their voices in encouraging young people to choose discipline, sport and positive life paths. Together, we remain committed to building a safer, healthier and drug-free Zimbabwe. #angelofhope #philanthropy #drugabuse #drugs #rehabilitation #firstlady #mnangagwa #zimbabwe

CHIRUMANZU-ZIBAGWE CONSTITUENCY UPDATES A new chapter in the advancement of rural education infrastructure was written earlier today as Member of Parliament for Chirumanzu-Zibagwe Constituency, Hon. Jacob Chokururama presided over the official groundbreaking ceremony for a new teachers’ accommodation block at Chishuku Primary School in Ward 16. The development marks a significant step in addressing staff housing shortages and improving the quality of education in the community. The project, which is set to deliver modern housing units for educators was met with overwhelming support from local leaders, parents and school authorities. For years, inadequate housing has been a major challenge at Chishuku Primary affecting teacher retention and morale. This new accommodation is expected to go a long way in improving teachers’ living conditions, reducing absenteeism and ensuring that learners benefit from a stable and motivated teaching staff. Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Jacob Chokururama expressed profound gratitude to the Second Republic and His Excellency President Cde Dr. E.D Mnangagwa for the great attention given to the welfare of both teachers and pupils. He highlighted that the administration’s deliberate policies have created an enabling environment for rural schools to receive the same developmental attention as their urban counterparts. He stated that the groundbreaking was not just about bricks and mortar but about dignity, stability and excellence in education. He commended His Excellency and the Second Republic for their unwavering commitment to teacher welfare and for introducing the Heritage-based curriculum which he said is anchoring the education system in the nation's identity, values and developmental needs. The legislator further emphasized that projects such as the Chishuku teachers’ accommodation are practical demonstrations of the country’s march toward an upper middle income economy by 2030. He reiterated that with this positive growth trajectory, Zimbabwe is on course to fulfill its national development agenda guided by the philosophy of leaving no one and no place behind. He added that development that excludes rural communities is not sustainable and that what was being witnessed at Chishuku is evidence that the nation’s vision is inclusive. He stressed that by investing in teachers and rural schools, Zimbabwe is building the foundation for an educated, skilled and prosperous society by 2030. The school head and local leadership hailed the project, pointing out that it will attract and retain qualified teachers in the area, directly benefiting hundreds of learners at Chishuku Primary. Construction is expected to commence immediately with some construction materials having arrived today. The community is pledging full support to ensure timely completion. @dereckgoto @enkudheni @noku_carol @KMutisi @Armsdealerzw @UmpYouth @CremoraOnTop

I visited Bumba Primary School in Chimanimani, Manicaland Province! Had a wonderful time with these lovely children and their dedicated teachers. I'm so glad that the borehole we built just 100 meters away has made a real difference—bringing clean water and convenience to both their studies and daily lives. Every cheerful smile from the children made the 7-hour journey truly worthwhile. May they grow up healthy and happy, and one day give back to their communities with the same kindness they've received. 🇨🇳🇿🇼 收起

#Zimbabwe The Art Of War🐊🐊🐊 WHAT A USELESS POST TO JUSTIFY NONSENSE OF THE HIGHEST ORDER❗️
The people making the loudest noise about @matinyarare being engaged like Mutisi and Mfcane, are the very same people who spent years taking shots at the party and President @edmnangagwa every chance they got. Now they want to masquerade as the custodians of loyalty. The irony is breathtaking isn’t it?…. So what exactly is their position? That Rutendo should remain hostile forever? That problems should be left to fester? Politics is about winning people over, not collecting enemies. What is amusing is that while they were busy providing commentary from the cheap seats, Advisor @paultungwarara stepped onto the field and got the job done. If they had a better solution, where was it? Spare us the noise. Spare us the political drama. What happened was strategic co optation and tactical pacification. That is called leadership. Some are playing chess while others are still arguing over the rules of checkers. Well done Advisor.

In the fight against drug and substance abuse among young people, Permanent Secretary George Guvamatanga yesterday spent quality time with Warriors stars supporting young people who are showcasing their talent through football. Such initiatives provide positive opportunities for the youth, encouraging discipline, teamwork, and personal development while steering them away from the dangers of drugs and substance abuse. Football continues to be a powerful tool for youth empowerment, and it is commendable to see leaders and sporting icons investing their time in inspiring the next generation to pursue their dreams and contribute positively to society. Well done to PS Guvamatanga and the Warriors stars for supporting this important cause.
