My tutee absolutely enjoyed @mathplayground #ThinkingBlocks today! She made connections to the add/sub strip diagrams structures we've been working on for the past 8wks! Got stronger & more confident w/each problem...even in the 2-step probs!

I've been thinking tons about these thinking blocks lately!! They are GREAT models - students can manipulate and replicate them easily, which is EXACTLY what you want for students to be able to move through the Concrete to Abstract continuum! mathplayground.com/thinkingb…
