Dear Christmas Eve Voter, I say to you: Things aren't that bad, and they'll get a hell of a lot worse under the rule of a mad king.

Oh, this was a winner. And yes, an extraordinary case.

This man has worn many hats in his career, but this 90s hair beats them all. Oh the fashion back in that day. But on a real note, @MattLetscher you did so well in this film. I’m so intrigued by this case because there were 7 possible suspects and yet nothing.

This is the first actor strike on the TV/film contract since 1980.
Replying to @MattLetscher
If striking works then why do they have to strike over and over and over....... And over.... And over.......

This right here. My whole point. If you support your union, take it up with leadership, privately. This is different from “myopic” and “reductive” and I think it’s a position that most understand, even if they might not support it.

Stephen Amell appeared on TMZ to let everyone know he didn't vote yes for the strike authorization and that the strike is inconsistent to movies and shows that are releasing in July and afterwards. #SAGAFTRAstrike #SAGstrike #sagaftramembers #StephenAmell #HeelsSTARZ

I’m not striking for me. I’ve been doing this for 30 years, I’m set. I’m doing this for the next kid from the Midwest who would like to pursue the dream, make a living, raise a family, etc. That is nigh impossible under current conditions. There is almost nothing left to lose.

Nah. I’m in a union that is striking. Everyone is frustrated. NO ONE wants to strike. But ANY member publicly calling it reductive or myopic w/o offering alternatives is taking potshots, not supporting the union. That’s why I’m asking (snarkily.) “If not this, then what?” (1

So this is the world we live in now, where your opinion is only valid if people agree with it. If you agree with Amell or not it doesn't matter he still has the right to an opinion. Stop swinging your tiny moralities around expecting people to cater to it.

I’m all for other opinions, new ideas. We could use them. I watched the video. I see the frustration and I get it. I know he works hard and I hope his show runs like a sweaty SVU. Right now? The strike is the union and the union is the strike. He’ll be on the line? 👍 Onward! 🫶

If you read a book on organized labor and it’s role in creating the middle class in this country there might be a chapter there. 🤝 (PS How does one walk away when there is no one sitting across the table from you?)
Replying to @MattLetscher
Just an FYI, read a book on negotiating, there is never a chapter on striking. Walking a way yes.
