Thank you @VP! From our work representing many people who have medical debt that they couldn’t avoid on their credit reports (including some who don’t even owe the debt!), we know that this policy will dramatically improve people’s lives in so many ways.

For years, medical debt has harmed people’s credit scores. Today, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is announcing plans to remove medical debt from Americans' credit reports and allow millions of people to invest in their futures.
