I don’t watch a ton of soccer outside of the major tournaments, but the commercial break (sorry, “hydration break”) seems dangerous for future big events.
Soon, they’ll be every 15 minutes with the most expensive TV ads coming at the 90’ mark.

You hold an 8-2 or 7-3 lead, just one of those not both, I think it’s pretty straightforward Georgia-Georgia Tech on Monday in the CWS winners bracket.
IMO GT would’ve breezed through Kansas and Alabama in the same fashion that OU did. 🤷♂️

I hold Ted Roof in breach of contract considering his job was to stop opposing offenses, and he - on a million 3rd & 3s - wad content to allow 7 yards and a pitch-and-catch 1st down while instead protecting against a bomb, even though opponents would score 4 plays later anyway!!!

The charade was up when North Carolina’s argument was basically “Look, we ceased to be an institute of higher learning for everybody, not just men’s basketball players, so it’s out of your purview.”

You don’t think a Mississippi State program that’s won 9 Regionals and 5 Super Regionals over the last two decades and is a regular Top 16 host is one of the powerhouses of the sport?
"powerhouse" ... that finished 8th in their own conference. LOL

Sometimes it’s the program, not the team.
Georgia has recent Super Regional experience and it showed, expertly navigating close games with Liberty last week and Mississippi State.
I’m not sure you’ll ever see a SEC team go 6-0 against a powerhouse like Mississippi Stare again.
