tbf it more or less did exactly that. ran way longer than it should have, became the default T&J program for all Boomerang stations, plus had its art style copy pasted to both the next show and a few "movies"
Warner Bros. was so convinced that The (2014) Tom & Jerry Show would be a massive success, they gave that crap a style guide. They seriously thought it had a chance to become the new face of the Tom & Jerry brand.
