Official start at university of Saarland. Looking forward to working with new colleagues and moving the lab to start a new position in Synthetic Biology. Watch this space….#synbio#OriginOfLife#BottomUp.
We are hiring ! We have 3 openings in the group:
- 1 PhD: active soft matter & plancton
- 1 Post-doc: microfluidics and reactive microcompartments
- 1 Engineer: droplet micro/millifluidics for biochemical transformations
The applications process will soon start on @EmploiCNRS
Over the past years the group has been involved in collaborative projects in the field, within @MaxSynBio and we are partners of the european Synthetic Cell community @SynCellEU .

Great to see how the 111-year old MPI for Medical Research develops, incl. the planned new building at the Neckar river in Heidelberg. For me, it will always be connected to the introduction of synchrotron radiation to structural biology by Ken Holmes.
