This Saturday at 10:30 a.m., we will gather outside Binghamton City Hall to remember and honor those killed 20 years ago in the 9/11 attacks.
Members of the Binghamton Police and Fire departments and former Mayor Rich Bucci will join us. All are welcome.

Throughout the pandemic, the City has worked hand-in-hand with our non-profit partners to ensure federal resources go to meet our community’s most pressing needs.
This is part of the $991K in CARES funds the City has earmarked for housing assistance.

I joined members of the Binghamton Fire Department today to break ground on the new downtown fire station and headquarters.
This station will support citywide emergency response efforts, further revitalization and provide firefighters with the 21st-century facility they deserve.

I joined CARES and our other partners today to announce details of this year's annual backpack & school supply program.
We'll provide 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to @BinghamtonCSD students next week.
It's our largest giveaway since the program started in 2017.

Aug. 25, 10 AM-12PM at Cheri Lindsey Park & Webster Street Park
Aug. 26, 10 AM-12PM at Rec Park, Lee Barta Community Center & NoMa Community Center

The City demolished another vacant eyesore today on Broad Avenue.
Thank you to Councilman Tom Scanlon, who helped the City acquire this dilapidated property from its previous owner and worked with us on behalf of East Side residents to have it torn down.

As Mayor and President of @NYCOM, I've worked with her to secure tens of millions of dollars for local projects that support a thriving Upstate New York.
I look forward to continuing to work with Kathy in her role as Governor.

In resigning, Governor Cuomo did the right thing for New York State. As Mayor, I have developed a positive working relationship with Kathy Hochul, our next governor who will make history. I look forward to partnering with her on future projects and initiatives here in Binghamton.

With the federal eviction moratorium ending over the weekend, I'm urging any Binghamton resident who needs help with rent to call 2-1-1 today.
Funds are available through the City for tenants to help pay rent and utilities so they can stay in their homes.

Since applications opened late last summer, 64 families have received rental assistance through the City program.

The event, which promotes safer neighborhoods & stronger relationships between police & residents, will be held 5-8 PM on Aug. 3 at Cheri Lindsey Park.

The @NYSComptroller has released its audit of the $274M Binghamton-Johnson City Joint Sewage Treatment Plant project.
