We are dismayed to hear this. The Irish state has been told again and again that forcing someone continue a pregnancy against their will is in violation of the United Nations Convention against Torture (UNCAT)  x.com/RuthCoppingerTD/status…

I've just raised the case of a women who was denied a termination for fatal foetal abnormalities despite 2 consultants agreeing. The hospital asking for her to wait 4 weeks, where it's likely she'll miscarry. Woman is considering travel to UK. #repealedthe8th #dubw #legisl8

WARNING. A notorious rogue anti-choice agency has set up a website called My Options and manipulated its Google listing to entrap women who need abortion care. To reach the HSE MyOptions helpline, the only number to call is 1800 828 010. The website is at myoptions.ie.

This year, 57,029 people in Meath voted YES to #repealthe8th. They voted to end an era of secrecy and suffering, and we’re going to make sure that time has truly ended. ✊💛 #FreeSafeLegalLocal #repealedthe8th

President Michael D. Higgins has now signed the Health (Regulation of Termination of Pregnancy) Bill, and it is now law. Ireland can finally move on to providing abortion services in January. Thank you, everyone, for getting us here!!! #FreeSafeLegal #WeCantWait

Thank you once more to everyone for their hard work.
Replying to @freesafelegal
On this historic night, we remember everyone who suffered under the 8th Amendment, those who travelled, those who took pills in fear of the repercussions, those who told their stories and those who never got to tell their stories. #legisl8 #repealedthe8th

The Dail debate on The Bill resumes Tuesday. Which means you have 4 DAYS to contact your TDs. We have over 4 blogposts to choose from to help you write your emails. If half the people who voted YES wrote to their TDs they might start to listen! #legisl8 abortionrightscampaign.ie/20…

Also happening today in Dublin city centre! "Women and people fleeing domestic abuse frequently become homeless, and the housing crisis means they often remain homeless. This is unacceptable - again the most vulnerable are the ones bearing the brunt of the housing crisis."
Join us tomorrow from 3pm at the Ha'Penny bridge for a really important banner drop and action. More info to come - but please make it down if at all possible facebook.com/events/33198334…

This is a time when people are most vulnerable. There should be no extra barriers put on people accessing healthcare

Very disappointed that the legislation will continue to criminalise abortion. We must do everything we can to remind our politicians that we are not going away. Please join us at the rally outside the Dáil this afternoon at 6.30pm. irishtimes.com/news/social-a… #legisl8 #freesafelegal

"For women having an abortion after 20 weeks when their life or health is at risk or in the case of a fatal foetal abnormality, doctors would be required by law to tell the woman exactly at which points in the procedure the foetus is capable of feeling pain." 1/

We will never forget her 💕
Savita Halappanavar died six years ago today, killed by the 8th Amendment and by structural racism.
