Unsurprisingly, students generally prefer college email for important messages, which is true across all ages and genders. The least favorite ways to receive notifications include social media, calls to personal phones, and direct mail. When in doubt, use email for shout-outs!

Across the board, 2 in 3 students have iPhones. The difference is even more pronounced among younger students, where 3 in 4 are Apple users. Interestingly, female students are more likely to have iPhones, with 80% using that OS operating system, compared to 67% of male students.
