First rotation of FY1 completed. It’s so crazy how fast time has flown. It’s been such a journey. Lots has happened and lots was learnt. It’s been such a great experience- will miss this rotation.

Just a little rant from a current resident doctor.
Why is it so normalised for NHS staff to be staying late and working beyond normal work hours.
This wouldn’t be tolerated in other jobs, but because it’s „the NHS” as a member of public said, then that makes it ok??

Tomorrow marks my first day of FY1, and my official career as a doctor. To say I am anxious about what’s to come, is a BIG underestimate.
