Join @aerdf's program EF Math on Nov 10, 10:20 AM ET for "Equitable & Dynamic Approaches to Assessing Executive Functions in Mathematics Context" @MeganBrunner3@rebeccammerkley@StephenHutt
I’m proud to contribute to this journey through our Fraction Ball project, where we’ve co-created playful, fun, and engaging math learning experiences that build students' cognitive capacity and problem-solving skills through games within a math context.
All learners can succeed in math! EF Math shares w/@NCTM how helping students engage their executive function skills during math learning can strengthen their math problem solving skills and understanding of math concepts.
Catch the team at #NCTMCHI24!

Interested in learning how to strengthen students’ mathematical identities while teaching? Join us for a discussion at #NCTMCHI24 on how to “co-design” learning opportunities w/students to bring out their brilliance & harness their executive function skills in math learning.
Attending #NCTMCHI24 this year? Join us for an engaging and interactive session aligned with @NCTM.
Learn from math educators part of our EF Math Advisory Board about integrating equity, executive functions, & culturally responsive practices to unlock students’ math brilliance.
Find us in Renaissance Sierra at 10:30! Come chat and collaborate on developing classrooms where students are seen, heard, and VALUED as people and as mathematicians! #CMCmath
So excited to be a part of this powerhouse team talking all things EF in math, equity, and inclusive research & development at #23CDSC
How can we center educator expertise in designing curriculum that makes sense for use in classrooms? What does that look like? Come find out!
See you soon @charterdevctr !

Excited to be in this space with @MNmMath and @MFAnnie to share with others about Inclusive R&D and the ways educators can inform curriculum development creating more equitable, student-centered approaches, while also being supported to adapt their practice in research-based ways
Juneteenth is to be commemorated more than celebrated.
I know media has coined “Happy Juneteenth”, but would we say “Happy End of the Holocaust” to Jewish people? Bc slavery was just that, a genocide torture camp that legally lasted for 246yrs, for context the holocaust was 4yrs
One of the toughest parts about doing a PhD is feeling like your life is on pause. You see other people your age getting married, having kids, and buying houses while you have no idea where you're going to be living or what you'll be doing in 2 years.
teacher educators working with student teachers, how are you currently planning on teaching the day of the election? thinking about resources to support my PSTs and ALSO prepare them to walk into schools the next day ready to hold space for their students #mtbos#edutwitter
starting summer 35 of @AimHighProgram with Dr. Vince Matthews @SFUSD_Supe reminding us that we need to Aim High-er for our students and have critical conversations towards change
