Juneteenth is to be commemorated more than celebrated.
I know media has coined “Happy Juneteenth”, but would we say “Happy End of the Holocaust” to Jewish people? Bc slavery was just that, a genocide torture camp that legally lasted for 246yrs, for context the holocaust was 4yrs
