It's a simple reason, and it's probably the reason for most of the problems in our society right now: income inequality is so vast that most people in this country do not have the means to support children. They can barely afford their own housing and their own food, and now we're expecting them to have a whole bunch of kids. People don't have money, and the people in power are too afraid to admit it because they are the ones extracting that wealth from the people and causing those problems."
