This Is a Nanny State I'm Willing to Fight For
Good Morning World!!!
I woke up this morning thinking about our kids. Not my kids. Not your kids. Humanityâs kids. All of them. The ones being failed, betrayed, and sold out by the very adults sworn to protect them.
Let me give you the story. Just the facts. You can do the vomiting on your own time.
Daryl Daugs. Chief Deputy Auditor of Kitsap County. Elections administrator. United Way board member. His wife Leslie works at a high school. Together, theyâve fostered 54 children. Fifty-four. They opened their home to societyâs most vulnerable kids and collected the accolades that come with it.
Activist Alex Rosen of
@iFightForKids recently posted a confrontation video. In it, Daryl Daugs is accused of soliciting a presumed 13-year-old online and sending explicit images. A child. Not even old enough to drive. Not even old enough to understand the evil being directed at her. And his wife Leslie? Accused of defending the behavior.
The same man entrusted with foster children. The same man who oversaw elections. The same man who sat on community boards and smiled for the cameras. And this is who weâre handing our kids to. Whose entire life has been funded by tax payer dollars.
This isnât just one monster. This is a system designed by monsters, for monsters, and the rest of us are just paying the bill.
In the last couple of months alone, weâve seen teachers and even a principal convicted of child sex abuse or child pornography in this state.
The people we hand our children over to for eight hours a day. And what is the state of Washington doing while this rots from the inside? Trying to reduce sentencing for people who solicit sex from children online. You canât make this up.
âMonitor your kidsâ media.â âMonitor their internet.â âMonitor their school.â
Iâve heard this a thousand times. Every time I complain about the sewage being piped into childrenâs brains, someone tells me itâs the parentsâ job. Just the parents. Only the parents. Society has no responsibility. The billion-dollar media companies cranking out filth for children? Not their problem. The schools handing out laptops with unfiltered internet access? Just parent better, mom and dad.
Let me tell you something about working parents.
Theyâre clocking 40 hours a week just to keep the lights on. Theyâre commuting five to ten hours on top of that. Theyâre coming home to shopping, cooking, cleaning, and helping with homework while running on fumes. Theyâre not lazy. Theyâre exhausted. And the predators know it. The system counts on it.
While mom and dad are stuck in traffic trying to make it home in time for dinner, their kids are being handed school laptops with YouTube access.
YouTube, where you can learn how to steal a Kia in under three minutes. Not a hypothetical. Our own 15-year-old did exactly that. The school gave him the tool. The internet gave him the tutorial. We weren't allowed the password but we got the consequences.
I played Grand Theft Auto once and watched a 12-year-old gleefully running over pedestrians and shooting cops. I was horrified. People laughed at me. âItâs just a game, Orah.â Now we have roving gangs of teenagers stealing Kias for sport. The Kia Boys. They post videos. They have branding. But sure, tell me again how media doesnât influence behavior.
Speaking of media and influence, letâs talk about drag queen story hour. Iâm not attacking drag. Iâm attacking the idea that adult fetish entertainment belongs in front of children.
There is a difference between a man in a dress and a man in lingerie with triple-G breast prosthetics having kindergarteners put dollar bills in his G-string. One is self-expression. The other is a crime. And the second one actually happened. At a local school. Taxpayer funded.
If you described these people (the predators, the groomers, the ones pushing this stuff on kids) to the most hardcore atheist on the planet, even theyâd say, âOkay, I donât believe in God, but those people are definitely worshipping something dark.â
I am a free speech absolutist. I believe you should be able to say whatever you want about the government without being silenced. For example, I should be able to say that itâs being run by sociopathic pedophile serial killer clowns in suits. I just said it. Free speech, baby.
But I do not believe the Founding Fathers sat down in Philadelphia and said, âWe hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, and that kindergarteners should be able to put dollar bills in a grown manâs lingerie at the local library.â
Thatâs not freedom. Thatâs grooming. And the people pushing it know exactly what theyâre doing.
It is not the parentsâ job to police society. It is societyâs job to police itself.
Every adult who wants to live in a civilized world has a responsibility to ensure that innocent children can walk through life without being sexualized.
Every adult has a responsibility to demand that anyone working with children goes through strict vetting.
Every adult has a responsibility to demand that spaces where children are cared for are monitored with cameras. Not because we want a surveillance state, but because children are being tortured and murdered in classrooms and daycares across this country, and the only thing that ever brings accountability is evidence.
Yes, thatâs a nanny state. Iâm fine with that. Because both parents usually need to work just to feed their kids.
Because the village that was supposed to help raise children has been replaced by a digital strip club and a foster care system full of predators.
Because while youâre working your second job, someone like Daryl Daugs is earning a living paid for by your tax dollars and sliding into your kidâs DMs.
End all access to children by monsters like these. Full stop. No second chances. No reduced sentences. No âhe was a good foster dad to 53 of them.â
If you harm a child, you forfeit your place in society. Permanently. I donât care about your job title. I donât care about your community board seat. I donât care about your foster parent accolades. You touch a kid, youâre done.
Our children are not sacrifices for your perversion or your profit. They are not collateral damage for your ideological experiments. They are not inventory.
I enjoy society. I enjoy law, order, politeness, and fairness. And I will not sit quietly while a handful of monsters (and the politicians who protect them) burn it all down.
So the next time you see something obviously harmful to children... a policy, a piece of media, a predator with a title... donât shrug and say itâs the parentsâ job. It is our job. All of us. Every adult who wants to live in a world worth living in.
Have a great day and remember, God loves you no matter what.
