Yesterday, we held our annual service at St Michael's Church Cornhill, in memory of John Vernon, a generous benefactor and former Master of the Company, who died in 1615. Members and their guests enjoyed lunch back at the Hall and raised nearly £2,000 for the MT Foundation.

We were incredibly proud of our Lower School Choir, Cambiata Choir and Senior Choir, who performed at the NSPCC Carols by Candlelight service in the beautiful setting of the Metropolitan Cathedral last week. Our pupils sang with warmth, confidence and real musicality, helping to create a moving and atmospheric evening for everyone attending. They represented the school wonderfully and brought a special sense of spirit to the occasion. It was a fantastic opportunity for our young singers to be part of such a meaningful event, and we are truly grateful to the NSPCC and the Cathedral for welcoming us once again. Well done to all three choirs on memorable and uplifting performances. 🎶✨

What a night at the Livery Academy Heat! The Hall was buzzing this week as the Merchant Taylors’ heat of the Livery Academy Awards took place. The Hall was filled with the enthusiastic support of mentors, teachers, parents, and Company members, all cheering on the students.

The Merchant Taylors’ Company has a proud tradition of supporting its Armed Forces affiliates. The annual Awards Dinner is our way of honouring exceptional service and dedication within these units and it strengthens the bond between the Company and the military. #tradition
