Offender is a convicted felon, he suffered injuries to his wrist but @ChiefDavidBrown would not specific further. A weapon was recovered at the scene. @cbschicago

Maybel’s owner is offering a $2,000 reward for her safe return- no questions asked. He believes Maybel was sold to someone on the westside of #Chicago. Anyone with information is asked to e-mail bringmaybelhome@gmail.com.

HAPPENING NOW: Hundreds of boxes with donations for Ukraine are being packed at Belmont & Rutherford. Coordinators say right now they need tactical gear- bullet proof vests, binoculars, radios, etc. @cbschicago

All of these donations are being loaded onto semis, then will be put onto planes that will land in Poland. The supplies will then be brought to Ukraine. @cbschicago

Finally -- finally -- got my PCR test results back from 12/23 just now and it turns out I was negative all along so I've got that going for me which is nice I think?
