After 13 girls at Fairfax High School were groped by a 19-year-old illegal immigrant in the hallway, the district hired a law firm at $1,850/hour to conduct what Superintendent Reid called an “independent” investigation. A FOIA request revealed the contract says otherwise: it was a “confidential, attorney-client privileged investigation” conducted “for the purpose of providing legal advice”—with no disclosure obligations. Reid then announced the district “acted promptly and appropriately.” The public isn’t allowed to see the report. Aaron Spence of @LCPSOfficial falsely claims that Grimm v. Gloucester County requires schools to allow transgender students to access the locker room that aligns with their gender identity. The Grimm court specifically indicated that locker rooms were not addressed in its ruling.

Last night, I got a call from President Trump. During the call, I asked about how the Pentagon had reclassified my faith. He said he would look into it. This morning, he told me it had been fixed. Thank you, President Trump. We can disagree on whether "Mormons are Christian." That's not what disturbed me about this. I don't want the GOVERNMENT classifying religions. That creates a dangerous tool that shouldn't be in the hands of ANY government. I don't believe that was Hegseth's goal. But what happens if the power shifts and the "Jesus was nonbinary" camp takes over? Will they recategorize conservative Christians? The Biden administration already tried to link Catholicism to domestic terror. If that possibility troubles you, then you understand my problem with this whole thing. I don't want the government to declare me a Christian. I want them to stay out of it.

Latter-day Saint high schoolers attend 1 hour of dedicated scripture study every day of the school year for four years. Average number of school days per year is 180. 180 hours a year X 4 years = 720 hours before they graduate high school. Other personal study adds to this. Missionaries spend 1 hour of personal study and 1/2 hour of companionship study every day of the week for two years. That equals 1095 hours over the course of a two year mission. 720 1095 = a minimum of 1,815 hours of study by the time they are 20 years old.

I second this! The Book of Mormon has changed my life. I’m forever grateful for its words and teachings.
