On the hunt for 2 steel cable drum reels. Harder to find in WA.
2500mm x 2500mm.
Prepared to travel but would make financial compensation to owner less attractive.
Need to make a poly pipe recovery system. I have 13 rolls of poly pipe laying around 3 farms 150kms apart.
Pumping stock water dam to dam in June? That's a first!
Without a significant large, hard and fast downpour I will have to pump the water out of this spring fed dam to 6 dams in close proximity.
I love a good paddock scale trial.

Just got told by a mechanic that my 2 old TR harvesters are too old to bother stuffing around with!
I would love to upgrade. However, on my size program, I just can't justify a $200k machine.
The 88 has 3000 eng hour's, 98 has eng 5200 hours.
MerinoWA was at the Fremantle Wool Sale today with the WMI finishing 104 to 1681ac, a fantastic result, with the highest sale reaching 1761 π. EMI finished at 83 to 1536ac. Wool is definitely on the ππ΅πππ΅ Thanks for the invite @steve_noa, Endeavour Wool Exports
So excited to be part of the team helping to bring Motherland charity to WA for the first time and be hosting in our community of Darkan. Steph and our panel of speakers are guaranteed to entertain, to inspire & resonate with all rural mums. Hope to see you there!
Minnie oats.
Doesn't seam too mini to me. Absolutely powering away. I recon it pushed up 100mm this week. The third node is now visible. π€π€ for a kind spring, ππ for some good finishing rains, and then call the bank managerπ°π°.
@InterGrain1
#askXag lupins this year are incredibly slow to pod up.There is no visible frost damage. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with lupins making a late push to pod up? Normally I have at least a handful of pods per plant
Healthy no disease, no insects, minimal weeds.
Minnie oats bulkup is going well. Seams to interow fill with lower leaves, good thing as it's a dwarf. For a low sowing rate, it's great competition. @AllanRattey@InterGrain1
Old Charlie Cowcher told my grandfather back in the 50's, an early crop is a good crop, an early calf is a good calf, and an early lamb is a good lamb. I agree, but a long dry period in May can do so much damage. This year is one of those years.

WE'RE OPERATING EITHER SIDE OF MILING FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS. ANY TAKERS JUMP ON BOARD NOW.
DALBO Powerroll 1830 - 60ft landroller This roller does not seal the surface and can work in moist and tacky soils and conditions when the conventional drum roller cannot.
They say that at the end of every rainbow is a pot of gold. I hope they are right cause there are a few thousand ewes and lambs at the end of that rainbow, and all that oats is going to be harvested to feed those ewes and lambs. π π°π°π°
#askXag is it just me, or do many find the urea makes its way down into the furrows and very little in the interrow?
Good thing, but it's just my observation!
Bannister oats 20kms NW of Williams, Western Australia.
Oh, come on, @telstra lift your game.
I have come to the only spot on this farm NW of Williams to make business calls. Made three, now I can't get any signal. Just says blno network. AND you had the ordasity to send me a letter last week saying my contract price is increasing!
Bannister oats never seen rain, established only with subsoil moisture.
@Equalizer_SA 9000V and @4Farmers_ Aquifier. It's a winning combination, in my opinion.
