My name is Bernard, living in Ireland. I have stage 4 stomach cancer. My medical consultants recommend Immunotherapy and chemotherapy. Despite best scientific and clinical evidence, my Irish healthcare insurer won't fund this. Am I alone?
Today was the "soft-launch" of our media campaign to get all Irish health insurers fund cancer immunotherapy #FundImmuno . I have been overwhelmed with the support (over 5000 shares in a day, just on LinkedIn). Thank you. @LayaHealthcare do us right!

It was a bittersweet day!
I'm so proud of myself and @SLarragy for making it through our PhDs, but so sad to say goodbye!
I had the most supportive supervisor @JimCarolanMU and made a life-long friend in Sarah. You both taught me so much about research, life, and friendship 🩷
A major thank you to everyone else @MaynoothBiology for your kindness and support. Admin staff, technical staff, fellow PhD students, faculty members, and fellow post-grad, summer school, and @MU_AthenaSwan committee members, I had a fantastic experience.
