Confirming that a VMS (sign) will be mounted just north of LaTrobe so you can detour before getting to the Swanston St closure down at Collins St. It will also be possible to walk 100m past the detour to continue down Swanston, at all times. Detour starts Monday.

This store owner gets it. Cyclists rolling through retail districts do so far more efficiently than a motorist, but with the freedom to “stop on a whim” the way a window-shopping pedestrian would. @DwntwnHamBIA @Barton_Village @LockeStShops @PrabSarkaria @AndreaHorwath #HamOnt

Seriously, if you’re following ANY bike-lane debate, you HAVE TO WATCH this news story. You actually can’t make this up. Ford claims without evidence that bike-lanes are bad for small business, and THE ACTUAL BUSINESS ASSOCIATION obliterates him with data. toronto.citynews.ca/video/20…

This is a devastating story. It’s bad enough when mistakes are made but when known issues and warnings are not addressed it really highlights priorities.

6 months ago, Brett was cycling to work on Dynon Road when he was run over by a B-double. Miraculously he survived, but with life changing injuries - tonight's @abc730 Report tells his story.

Drawing inspiration from Amsterdam and Utrecht, Paris has opened a state-of-the-art 1,200-bike parking facility at Gare du Nord. A key link in a seamless and scalable intermodal system, it provides an elegant storage solution for local, regional and (inter)national passengers. 🧵
