I love this thread @norootcause. It’s a great guide to how to think about a career, or career change to CS. It is about problem solving and autonomy and that is why it’s so cool. @shanselman @ashtom
As a software developer, you may be called upon to perform some of these tasks in your career.
How well a CS degree prepares you for these tasks (and whether it even should prepare you for these) is left as an exercise to the reader.

1/People are asking why at conferences like #MSIgnite, we do a description of ourselves (I’m an Asian woman wearing a floral dress etc). It’s to create an equitable experience for blind/low-vision folk or those who aren’t looking at the screen.
