Hey @YouTube @TeamYouTube I have now FULLY removed this song clip from the video and it is STILL being claimed as if it is there. The video was ALREADY Fair Use compliant BEFORE I made the edit, but this is on another level of abusing the system. Insane.

(2/2) Even after cutting one song down to LESS THAN A SECOND, the copyright claim stood. This is ridiculous. I am encouraging people to listen to music in your catalogue and you are actively discouraging that. This screenshot is just 1 of 3 claims. @Epic_Records @sonymusic

(1/2) Hey @Epic_Records and @sonymusic , I take great care to make sure that my videos follow fair use. I never use clips over 7-8 seconds, and they are illustrative of my commentary and review of music. Today DAYS after my Ozzy video release, you snake me with a copyright claim.

I don't care what side of the political spectrum you're on: We should all value truth and freedom. The protest in LA is only about 2 city blocks. Social media is playing you. Prosecute the fire-setters, sure; but don't let them trick you into giving them MORE power.

I’d genuinely be fascinated by a longitudinal research study following the life trajectory of these poor cringey Tik Tok kids of the next like 20-30 years. I remember being a cringey kid… can’t imagine having that be public record forever.
