Rome is Woke
"Dear migrants, before saying anything else to you, I want to bow before your dignity. You are not just numbers or files," Pope Leo XIV said in a meeting with organizations working with migrants at the Port of Arguineguína in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. In his address the Pope also called governments and international institutions to share the responsibility in addressing migration. Europe "cannot claim to uphold human dignity while growing accustomed to the Mediterranean and the Atlantic becoming unmarked graves," he insisted.

The Incarnation is the Foundation of our Salvation. Take it away, and there is no atonement for sin, and no newness of life rising from the dead. Deny it, and you're an antichrist (1 John 4:1-3).

SPECULATION: Jay's apologetic retirement may actually be evidence of the American Eastern hierarchy cracking down on the Orthobros. First, it's notable that he chooses to emphasise how no one "told" him to do this, at least not "as of yet." This most of all suggests to me that he (and likely others, as I'll show) got a love tap from the hierarchy "suggesting" that he change course, with the implicit threat of real consequences if he refuses. The more telling point is when Jonathan Pageau announced that his own bishop suggested last Sunday that he step away from apologetics. A priest would be one thing, but a *bishop*? I was also just made aware of testimony from laymen who apparently know of actual moves being made by the American hierarchy to this effect. I don't have them directly, but through a reliable intermediary, so I won't press this hard. Still, taken together, it appears that the American Easternist clergy are taking serious action against the Orthobros, which I suspected since at least back when the Australian Eparchy cracked down on "clergy influencers" (article link below). Once again, this is just speculation. And tbh it reads like the plot of Goodfellas.

I said it before: Orthobro is just a fad. In ten years, it’ll be gone.

You're a slave to the X algorithm if your weekly life revolves around saying something stupid on X, then making a podcast about it. Or, over someone saying something stupid and you, along with every other podcaster, rushing to make a video on it to see who gets the most clicks (example, famous pastor had an affair, so let's make a video on it while it's hot). Prior to 20-years, Christians never lived their lives like this. Log off. Enjoy the quiet life in all godliness (1 Thessalonians 4:11).

The incarnation of Jesus: that God the Son became a man and took on flesh and blood is the first step in our salvation and the Good News that God descended from heaven to save us from our sins! No other religion teaches that God actually became a man. Deny this, and you have no Gospel.

It’s almost as if he changed for money and clout. Almost…
Joel Webbon in 2022 explaining that the protections of the 14th amendment are vital to saving the unborn. He goes on to say that blacks prior to the 14th amendment were considered sub-human and this was "sinful racism", likening this mentality to the evil of abortion.

When asked “on what grounds are you justified,” @Alex_Ortodoxie answers, “..baptism, faith, mercy, all of these things are different aspects of participation in the divine life.” @MethodMinistry responds by pointing out that Alex didn’t mention the atonement or Christ’s work at all. 🔥 Overall great debate by Lucas. Highly recommend watching!

What upsets me when people throw insults at me, curse me out, and attack my character, is if I respond poorly to it. My concern is that I remain centered and Christian (Matthew 5:38-42).

The Christian Church never existed without the Scriptures as Romanists claim. Why? Because the apostles always claimed that their religion was the fulfillment of the Old Testament, which already existed at the time of Pentecost, Acts 26:22-23, “So, having obtained help from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, stating nothing but what the Prophets and Moses said was going to take place; [23] that the Christ was to suffer, and that by reason of His resurrection from the dead He would be the first to proclaim light both to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles."

Thank you, Josh!! I appreciate your encouraging words.
Replying to @MethodMinistry
@MethodMinistry did a fantastic job in his debate on justification. He didn’t get derailed by the constant strawmans, rhetorical flourishes, or the looping that Alex did throughout. Very impressive and I commend everyone to watch it.

I had a good time debating, and thanks to @Alex_Ortodoxie and @ModernDayDebate for this. I hope this can serve as a good example of our differences over the important issue of what is justification is. Praise be to the God who justifies (Romans 8:33). youtube.com/live/PQ_vVjMUUIY…

Romanists are upset that the standard way that Catholics get saved are when Protestants preach the Gospel to them. I can't tell you the number of ex-Catholics I meet who share this experience and left the Roman church for this exact reason. The religion of the pope is antichrist.
Just talked with another ex-Catholic tonight who was born & raised in the RCC but got saved at 40 hearing the Gospel for the first time from a Protestant. This is a common theme because the majority of Roman churches don’t preach or have the Gospel.

I was in a Bible study group with my church a few months back, and in the very first class the leader of the group had everybody go around and share their testimony. Over half the class were former Roman Catholics, most of which said they had never heard the gospel message until after they had left the Roman church. This is a damning indictment of Roman Catholicism, the so-called “One True Church.” Leave Rome and come home to Jesus, is the takeaway.
