@SkyNews @BBCNews Why do you keep asking about violent racist gangs "legitimate concerns"?Do you think having a "concern" about migration legitimises riot, arson and attempted murder? Asking that question isn't journalistic balance. It endorses racist violence and prompts more

We are alarmed by reports of increased racial and Islamophobic harassment of candidates in the run up to the Scottish Parliament elections. No one should have to deal with abuse, racist or otherwise, and staying silent risks normalising it. STATEMENTšŸ‘‡ stuc.org.uk/news/news/stuc-b…

Don't try pitting us against other workers. We aren't your convenient argument. We support each other in the trade union movement. The RMT dispute isn't even about pay, its about hours and fatigue.

As the editorial says, ā€œCondemnation must be unhesitating…Our duty is to…confront anti-semitism as we do all forms of racism, and to work- difficult as it is - for working-class unity against a capitalist system that uses racist ideologies to divide those it exploits.ā€

One of my daughter’s football team was playing over in Falkirk today. Behind us was Grangemouth, the site of another act of industrial vandalism by the UK and Scottish Governments. A plague on both those houses. BTW - our team, Dumbarton Women’s FC, won 6-1.

It is an outrage how the Scottish Government has neglected our institutions of working class history. Whether it’s the People’s Palace in Glasgow or the People’s History Museum in Edinburgh, the consistent message is that working class stories are not worth telling.

Isn’t it strange how the mainstream media never cover the successes of socialism? Well, not really. Here’s a short feature on how a small Caribbean island, subjected to a US economic blockage for over 50 years, still shines in scientific innovation. morningstaronline.co.uk/arti…

The Israeli state seemingly doesn’t like the idea of a global union federation meeting Palestinian workers. I wonder why?
Israel barred BWI and global construction union leaders from entering the West Bank to meet Palestinian workers. This is not incidental. this is exclusion, control, and silencing of workers in action. Read our press release: bwint.org/BwiNews/NewsDetail…
