I love that @MichelleForDPS always centers us on what is best to ensure the wellness of students and staff. A healthy board leans into relationship and leverages their diversity as a necessary strength. We have an opportunity to dismantle silos that have not served children well.

As a mom, DPS alumni, and Black woman I not only have the experience but a clear plan on how to serve the families of D4. We are no longer waiting for a seat at the table, as the Honorable Shirley Chisholm said “If they don't give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair.”
