History fact: The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool was already built to reflect the beauty of the nation’s capital. That was literally the point. It was designed as a quiet visual link between Lincoln and the Washington Monument — not as a blue political photo op. Repair leaks? Yes. Clean it? Yes. Maintain landmarks? Absolutely. But celebrating millions in taxpayer spending on a reflecting pool while Americans are getting crushed by healthcare, insurance, groceries, gas, rent, and debt is wild. If we can rush contractors, materials, money, and national messaging for a pool, maybe we can try that same “America First” energy on Americans. 😉🇺🇸
