Elders CEO Mark Allison with opening remarks at #evokeAg . The farmer and application should be at centre of all ag tech thinking he says. “Tech must pass a usefulness test” @stockjournal
Thanks @GrahamPage01 for my Christmas present! It's a cheeky monkey, just like me 😀 did you know there is a squeaker AND the ears make a crinkly sound when I bite them? It's the best and I love it so much 😍

I’ve had a great week in Tassie, building relationships and exploring partnership opportunities. The weather was gorgeous! A shoutout to the ground staff at Launceston airport, one of their X-ray machines is broken and there’s a long queue but it’s being managed really well 😀
At the launch of @FertiliserHub@unimelb representing Elders and TEI. The hub is developing new products and technologies to improve nitrogen use efficiency. There’s strong alignment with the Elders commitment to sustainability as a cornerstone of Australia’s agricultural future
The @EldersLimited contribution to this project is being co-ordinated by the Thomas Elder Institute. I'm impressed by the commitment of the project leads to using a co-design approach to ensure agronomists and growers are meaningfully engaged in the R&D process. Watch this space!

ALT Photo shows a kitchen bench with a bottle of gin, a bottle of tonic, and a gin and tonic in a glass with a slice of lemon. There’s a golden retriever lying in a doorway on the far left, and his eyes are half shut making it seem like he doesn’t approve the drink choice
I thought my hoomans had left me a tasty surprise in the yard today, but apparently I have to thank the local crow! I ate a whole raw chicken egg, shell and all, before they even knew what I was up to 🤣
“I am the happiest man alive,” Tipaklippa said.
“We want Santos and all mining companies to remember—we are powerful, we will fight for our land and Sea Country, for our future generations no matter how hard and how long,” he said.

At the Growing SA conference dinner as a guest of @CropLifeOZ (thanks @jana_phan for the invite!). Great speech from @MarkBickley26 about the role of serendipity, persistence, and self belief in career success. It's a theme that cuts across sports and agriculture
I had a great afternoon at Waite campus, catching up with @hixson_josh before attending the @SADroughtHub event at Urrbrae House. A real buzz in the room about bringing a broad range of stakeholders together to tackle the big issues facing the future of Australian agriculture
