All of us at the @SerpentineUK are saddened by the passing of David Hockney, whose brilliant works challenged artistic conventions and inspired audiences around the world, often using vivid colors to reimagine the nature of realism. We are honored to be showing his work at the Serpentine this spring and summer, and we know his creativity and curiosity will inspire and influence generations to come. Our thoughts are with his family, many friends, and all who find beauty - and power and purpose - in his art.

.@art1865 and Amanda Fuhrman are passionate about sharing great art with the world. Their non-profit, which is open to the public, @FLAGartNYC has elevated groundbreaking artists through exhibitions and institutional collaborations across the globe. @bloombergdotorg and @bbgconnects have been proud to partner with them to bring great works to new audiences. In a new book, "Collecting Contemporaries: The Fuhrman Collection," Glenn and Amanda provide a look inside the incredible collection they’ve curated over the years. I was glad to join them to celebrate its release.

Today in Detroit, @Ford CEO @JimFarley98 & I met students training for in-demand auto technician jobs. To create more opportunities like these for the next generation of American workers, @BloombergDotOrg is launching a $90 million initiative to provide high school students in nine U.S. regions with free training and direct pathways to jobs in the skilled trades— a field with millions of job openings today, and growing needs in the decades ahead.

Congratulations to Perelman Performing Arts Center Artistic Director Bill Rauch and Zhailon Levingston on winning Best Direction of a Musical at @thetonyawards for @jellicleballnyc. They did an amazing job bringing the Cats revival to life, first at PAC NYC and then on Broadway. Well-deserved!

Senseless gun violence has upended far too many lives. Today we #WearOrange to remember and honor victims — and to demand that America’s leaders step up to protect our kids and our communities.

I had a great time celebrating @OfficialALW last night at the @jellicleballnyc benefit for the Perelman Performing Arts Center alongside Jennifer Nettles and Laurence Fishburne. The Tony Award-nominated Cats revival has been a hit since moving to Broadway in April, and that success is being paid forward by helping PAC NYC bring new, groundbreaking productions to New York audiences.

It's been nearly 25 years since the 9/11 attacks, and it's up to all of us to make sure the stories of that day live on. The @Sept11Memorial Never Forget Fund helps honor the legacy of 9/11 victims, first-responders, and volunteers - and I'm matching up to $25 million in donations to it. Anything you give today will be doubled. Please join me in giving. bloombg.org/3PIRlVM

For almost 50 years, @SFFP_social has done life-changing work helping New Yorkers facing complex challenges. My friend Mark Lebow has been there since the beginning, and has been instrumental in helping them do so much for so many. I was glad to join in honoring his dedication and commitment.

After 9/11, Robert De Niro & @janetribeca came to City Hall with a bold idea to bring a film festival to Lower Manhattan. It was exactly the kind of optimism NYC needed. 25 years on, @Tribeca remains a cornerstone of the neighborhood's revival & a symbol of our city's resilience.

Congratulations to @Tribeca Festival on its 25th anniversary. After 9/11, Robert De Niro, @janetribeca, and Whoopi Goldberg helped make the Festival into a powerful vote of confidence in New York City’s future. Twenty-five years later, it remains a celebration of creativity, culture, and resilience.

Cities are powered by creativity, bold ideas, shared experiences, and strong opinions. Nothing brings those out like public art. The artist JR and I wrote in @TribuneDimanche about the importance of public art and the new installation La Caverne du Pont Neuf, which pays tribute to the original wrapping of the Pont Neuf by @ChristoandJC 40 years ago, while creating something entirely new for the city and its visitors. bit.ly/49szAR9

New York City's restaurants are home to some of New York City's best stories. Congratulations to Keith McNally on winning this year's Gotham Book Prize with his memoir "I Regret Almost Everything" about his life in the restaurant world. And thank you to @howiewolf and @ptknitwear founder Bradley Tusk for continuing to celebrate great NYC stories with this award. bit.ly/3R3YsrZ

Strong teams are built on connection and transparency. Offices separate people - which is why I sit in the bullpen like everyone else.
One of the more surprising things I’ve noticed while doing interviews w/ high-growth private & public companies: the CEO’s desk in the bullpen. Some examples: @nejatian CEO of Opendoor @adcock_brett CEO of Figure @adampbry CEO of Skydio @Keller CEO of Zipline @mansourtarek_ CEO of Kalshi @qasar CEO of Applied Intuition @scottgmorton CEO of Revel
