All of us at the @SerpentineUK are saddened by the passing of David Hockney, whose brilliant works challenged artistic conventions and inspired audiences around the world, often using vivid colors to reimagine the nature of realism. We are honored to be showing his work at the Serpentine this spring and summer, and we know his creativity and curiosity will inspire and influence generations to come. Our thoughts are with his family, many friends, and all who find beauty - and power and purpose - in his art.

To create more opportunities like these for the next generation of American workers, @BloombergDotOrg is launching a $90 million initiative to provide high school students in nine U.S. regions with free training and direct pathways to jobs in the skilled trades— a field with millions of job openings today, and growing needs in the decades ahead.

Congratulations to Perelman Performing Arts Center Artistic Director Bill Rauch and Zhailon Levingston on winning Best Direction of a Musical at @thetonyawards for @jellicleballnyc. They did an amazing job bringing the Cats revival to life, first at PAC NYC and then on Broadway. Well-deserved!

I had a great time celebrating @OfficialALW last night at the @jellicleballnyc benefit for the Perelman Performing Arts Center alongside Jennifer Nettles and Laurence Fishburne. The Tony Award-nominated Cats revival has been a hit since moving to Broadway in April, and that success is being paid forward by helping PAC NYC bring new, groundbreaking productions to New York audiences.

For almost 50 years, @SFFP_social has done life-changing work helping New Yorkers facing complex challenges. My friend Mark Lebow has been there since the beginning, and has been instrumental in helping them do so much for so many. I was glad to join in honoring his dedication and commitment.

After 9/11, Robert De Niro & @janetribeca came to City Hall with a bold idea to bring a film festival to Lower Manhattan. It was exactly the kind of optimism NYC needed. 25 years on, @Tribeca remains a cornerstone of the neighborhood's revival & a symbol of our city's resilience.

Congratulations to @Tribeca Festival on its 25th anniversary. After 9/11, Robert De Niro, @janetribeca, and Whoopi Goldberg helped make the Festival into a powerful vote of confidence in New York City’s future. Twenty-five years later, it remains a celebration of creativity, culture, and resilience.

Cities are powered by creativity, bold ideas, shared experiences, and strong opinions. Nothing brings those out like public art.
