I am filing the “Remembering Charlie Kirk Act” in South Carolina.
The legislation will ensure that public colleges and universities have the flexibility and roadmap to terminate personnel who condone, promote, or encourage acts of violence on campuses.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Charlie, but I know he was never ashamed to share his testimony and was fervent in his calling as a Believer to share his faith. I believe America will be blessed by Charlie Kirk’s legacy - not only during his life but also following his death.

My 14 year old biological mother put me into the foster care system. Today, I now serve on a special State Senate Subcommittee on Foster Care.

As an encouragement to foster kids, foster families and those involved in the foster system: my 14yo biological mother put me in foster care having no idea how my life would turn out. By God’s grace and His wonderful sense of humor, I now get to work to improve the same system.
