Armenia has voted for continuity and a continued turn toward the West.
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan [
@NikolPashinyan] and his Civil Contract party secured victory in the parliamentary elections, putting him on course for another term in office. This outcome is widely regarded as an endorsement of his efforts to reduce Armenia’s reliance on Russia, strengthen its relationship with Europe, and pursue a long-term peace agreement with neighboring Azerbaijan.
