🇪🇸 A man reportedly shouted "Allahu akbar" as he attacked two people with a knife in Barcelona, Spain. A 16-year-old girl of Asian origin was stabbed 30 times by a man shouting "Allahu Akbar" in broad daylight in a wealthy suburb of Barcelona. A 50-year-old man was injured while attempting to intervene and save the victim during the attack. Witnesses described a man acting nervously and brandishing a large knife before he repeatedly stabbed the victim in the throat, chest, and stomach. The suspect, who was later pictured prowling the streets with the weapon, was arrested by Catalan police around midday in the nearby Les Corts neighborhood. Authorities are currently investigating the incident as a random attack with no known link between the suspect and the victim.
