EDGE Group said in a statement that "this partnership will reinforce a long-term vision founded on trust, complementary strengths and a shared commitment to advancing sovereign capability".
The new partnership came as EDGE Europe begins its operations in France.

New milestone achieved! The #Airbus U850 #SIRTAP has successfully completed its first taxi at the @EjercitoAire Getafe Air Base runway, right next to our facilities.
During this taxi test, the aircraft is fully controlled from the ground control station. The test verifies the correct integration and performance of the braking system, steering function, navigation sensors, and commands from the control station itself.
Why is this key? It confirms the seamless interaction between hardware, software, and vehicle dynamics. It also validates the aircraft's ability to maneuver safely on the ground before progressing to high-speed taxi trials and the subsequent flight test campaign.
We are one step closer to the first flight! Stay tuned.

La demostración aérea estuvo a cargo del Ala 14 del Ejército del Aire y del Espacio de España, unidad que representó al programa Eurofighter en una de las principales ferias aeroespaciales de Europa.

In 1981, the USAF launched the Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF) program. Code named “Senior sky.“
The goal was to create an air-superiority fighter capable of defeating future Soviet aircraft while incorporating technologies that were still considered revolutionary at the time.

-powerful new engines
-composite materials
-integrated avionics
The aircraft that eventually emerged from this requirement would become the F-22 Raptor in future.

The X-29 proved that. Aeroelastic divergence is a nightmare with forward-swept wings unless you have advanced composites. Those Boeing concepts look cool but ignore real structural constraints we've learned the hard way.

Thoughts from someone who does this for a living
We figured out in the 90s forward swept wings suck due to the force concentration on the Wing Tips causing a weight penalty.
Also you would not use a delta wing for supersonic flight with that fuselage shape
